The God of War series should have ended in the middle of GoW 2. When playing GoW 3 I was literally falling asleep - that game has NO drive. Obviously I had no interest in Ascension and no interest in any more sequel(s).

Personally, I'd prefer a new IP, or just have it end now while it still can gracefully. If it has to continue, then the story has to change to something else. The typical "Kratos wants revenge on Zeus" plotline is getting old. Make up some new characters or something, throw in a new storyline or motivation.

The gameplay's starting to get pretty stagnant as well. Some new concepts need to be thrown in to keep it from becoming bland.

You could have GOW 4 star kratos little brother where he was forced to kill the gods and mythos in the anicent persian empire.

I want a God Of War IV, but with Deimos as the protagonist which tells the story about how Deimos was duking it out in the Domain Of Death.
