My favorite is the touch screen. Maybe its the obvious choice but not an easy one for me to make. Heres why I like it: immersion. Never having to pause an experience. Inventory and everything at your disposal. It makes multiplats like darksiders ii better, so much better. Games like skyrim, with its awful inventory, could stand to benefit. |
Not to bash you there but if you're looking away from your tv at the touchscreen of the controller doesn't that ''pause you from the experience'' aswell? :p. It probably feels a bit more fluend though.
I don't own a WiiU, but I've played with one and...well, Miiverse all the way!
I love the gamepad, feels pretty cool but I've only turned my Wii-U on for SMB and it hasn't been switched on since then for anything for over 2 months.

Pretty much this. I got it for the guaranteed Nintendo games plus it was £199 for the premium, so I figured the price wouldn't get any lower for a long time.

The rest is all nice to have but I don't really care about it.
The kids love the touchscreen though, buttons everywhere, paradise for a 3 year old.

Off-screen play and touch screen are pretty neat.
And as Rol mentioned, NSMBU. Great game. Nothing world-changing, but solid and fun.
Furthermore, the prospect of at least one 3D Mario game, a remade and a new Zelda game, a cute Yoshi game and what else is to come.
Plus, I could download 2 Kirby games from the eshop already. My son loves those. :)
