I knew that there were a lot of free games given out...but never knew it was that many. It's incredible when you realize that you got all of those games for only 50$. If this doesn't persuade you to subscribe to PS Plus, I don't know what will.

If people are still asking this question after all this time then it will never be worth it to you.
How will this work on the PS4?
Early in the gen they won't have games to offer I would think.
Cannot tell if this article blatantly copies and pastes the work someone put into drawing this up on reddit; or the other way around:

Since Icebreak is the creator of the Vita subreddit and often makes stuff like this, I'm gonna go with this article copying it.

Probably the same way they did it with the Vita. They'll introduce PS Plus to the PS4 a couple of months after it's release and start to offer free games that were available for PS4 on launch day.

That has never been on free plus only on discount.

LOL
@OP: PS+ is a really nice service for fans. I've been able to play a bunch of great games on Vita because of it. I only take issue with the final paragraph, particularly this line: "So if you were wondering about the cheapest way to build an extensive gaming collection..."
I don't know if "build" is the right word. I think "borrow" or "lease" might be the best word. This isn't a permanent collection.
Sure, it's like renting games, but the ones you rent are cumulative. I've had plus for 3 years now and when I purchase a month of Plus, it is like getting a hundred games I haven't had time to play yet.
Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
