Now i get why its called the X box. Its the X reticle for all the FPS the console gets. And its the only exclusives it gets aside Forza.
Actually, it would be easier to just call the next xbox the FPSBOX.

Oh lol i just noticed that makes another funny acromyn. That wasnt intended but its also funny.

I wonder if this new xbox will double up as a gameplay recording device with voice from the headset.

Once again, just because Rare was capable of making some cutting edge games in the 90s doesn't mean they knew how to cater to modern audiences.

Are we talking about the Rare that brought first person shooters to consoles with Golden Eye ?

Making a popular FPS doesn't mean they brought the genre to consoles.

Wow, i didnt see that coming.

Of course you didn't see those coming.

But you saw the obvious ones like:

Ryse

Respawn game (Call of Duty Devs)

2 New Ips that could be big.

But I guess you don't see things the way I do.

LOL 2 new IP's that "could be big" When was the last time a new exclusive IP, or even a reintroduced franchise (Like Banjo Kazooie, or Conker) was big?

the last big new IP's I saw were Alan Wake, Lost Odyssey, and Gears of War, and that's for the most part, all the new IP's on the 360

Aw c'mon! No love for Crackdown? Those games were awesome!

Okay 4 new MS published IP's on 360, LOL

I guess, if you were real desperate, you could count Mass Effect 1, but since the series isn't MS exclusive anymore, and PS3 fans could play the original on PC, I wouldn't.

Well there were more new IPs published. Like Blue Dragon, Ninja Blade, Kameo, Ninety-Nine Nights, and Too Human.

And there are about five noteworthy Kinect IPs. Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports, Kinectimals, Kinect Joyride, and Dance Central. All of those sold over a million units.

So 4 just turned into 14.

Why not the RPGBOX? It is widely known RPGs sell pretty well on this console :3

Isn't Crytek composed of former Rare employee's? How many games use the Cry Engine now, and I think Crysis 1-3 were pretty good games.

Also for N64 (late 90's, and early 2000's), Nintendo did make excellent titles. Banjo Kazooie, Diddy Kong Racing, Conker's Bad Fur Day (and the remake), Perfect Dark 1, etc.

MS just butchered them, and now forces them to make Kinect games. However I do agree, that we shouldn't expect much from Rare anymore, not after the shameful Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, and Perfect Dark Zero.

No. Free Radical was bought by Crytek in 2009 and that studio became Crytek UK. They didn't work on Crysis 1, they only did the multiplayer on Crysis 2, and they're responsible for the flop Crysis 3.

Anyone remember the last game created by Free Radical? Haze.

Crytek UK is working on Homefront 2 which I am actually kinda looking forward to. But we don't even know how much the staff has changed.

The only KInect game Rare made thus far is Kinect Sports and it was a great success. Banjo N&B was awesome even if its not the game you wanted. Meh with you, sir.

Thats all I said what are you on about.

I will say it again, 2 new IP's that "could" be big. One was suppose to be a 360 Kinect game, and well how has every "big" Kinect game faired?

They "could" also be crap, like Ninty Nine Nights.

LMFAO! yea.....

I wish it weren't true, Lost Odyssey and Alan Wake are great games, but those new non-FPS IP's are so rare on MS platforms nowadays.

Well......there is always hope. You can't take away my hope of a good Rare game a good decade after their last quality game.
