Both are struggling. So what´s the point here ?

Rule no. 1 of VGC: All WiiU or Vita threads must become Wiiu vs. Vita threads.

OT: Holy shit EA, you're still releasing FIFA on PS2.

Anyway, I thought EA had to release Madden games on all consoles? Or is that some other franchise?

I think they can skip a platform if they can prove that it won't be financially viable, ie: launching it on WiiU will make them lose more money than they will get back, which quite frankly is something that I don't know how they can prove without releasing the game but oh well, that's how things work.

OT: This news more than making me worry about Nintendo and WiiU (it seems that they won't release the game on 3DS either, which is the best selling hardware nowadays), makes me worry about EA. They are betting too much on PS4/Nextbox and if they don't perform as well as they expect (and I fear that while one will do well, the other won't) EA may find itself in serious problems, and they already have enough problems now...

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

No Madden, no Dead Space, no BF 4...
If this is the fruit of a strong relationship i don`t want to see what will happen when things get bad.

I'm really worried about EA on Sony and Nintendo platforms.

EA wasn't at the PS4 announcement in february and with the rumours of the next game from Respawn being exclusively on X720.

It seems they are aligned with MS.

This is the perfect proof that EA picks not only business but also personal grudge above great gameplay potantial.

Seriously, football with a gamepad? Possibilities are almost limitless, but seems that EA does'nt care enough to give us such a game.

I'm certain that the "Strong Partnership" comment was only to affirm that if Nintendo start doing well with the WiiU, EA can slide back in and say "hey, we said we have a strong partnership with you guys. Can we start making games for you again?"

That would be a disgusting buissness practise, thus I strongly agree with your suspicion.

what kind of achievement would that be?! :) It is a disaster but I don't think it's only Nintendo's fault.

i won't be surprised if ms paid for madden to be xbox3 exclusiv.

I'm surprised they're not at least doing a roster update..

Yeah, that really shows the degree to which EA is trying to kill the Wii U. I mean, how little would it cost them just to chuck some new rosters into the existing Wii U Madden 13 (which itself was just a roster update of Madden 12, unlike the PS3 and 360 versions!) and push it out the door as a new product? They'd at least clock 200,000 units, almost pure profit

No, EA's leadership still has to be hopping mad.
