What is going on with those charts? Nintendo stuff is higher across the board on famitsu and Sony stuff is higher on MC. Did the war reach the management level?

Wii and WiiU are lower on Famitsu.  As for software, I believe Famitsu includes download cards, which would likely explain the gap in software.

EDIT: and the PS3 and PSP are higher on Famitsu.

Luigi and animal crossing be beasting!

What's up with the hw difference between famitsu and MC?

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Next week's numbers will reflect the Golden Week. Let's see what happens. After that, all HW is pretty dead for a while.

Expecting better numbers for Tomodachi for Golden week. They have like a child holiday then right?

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

People need to realize that both MC and Famitsu are only estimates like VGC, and they poll different stores for their sales data to apply to their own national estimation models.

In other words there is a degree of variability between the two depending how sales differed at the stores they poll, and how those figures are applied to their estimation model. It's difficult to say whether Famitsu or Media Create is more correct in any given week. Famitsu lists the stores they poll but MC does not. Seeing how MC is a dedicated industry analysis company, however, one would hope that they have their model better figured out. Their weekly analysis articles are very good reads.

Not even tracking DS anymore. So sad.

Those top three 3DS games have some incredible legs!

DS tracking stopped the first week of 2013.

Vita seems to be stabilizing around 15k. I guess that isn't too bad. Was hoping it would be at around 20k/week at least though.

There goes Soul Sacrifice, and any Wii U game as well. It was fun while it lasted.

Vita still below the 15k mark, which is pretty good looking at where it was. However, I don't expect it to improve from here, aside from Golden Week ofcourse.

I also think that's pretty much it for a while now Vita-wise. Summon Knight next?

I know you read the numbers wrong here but I think you have stated in multiple threads that the VITA will stabilise at its current levels. ~14k

I actually disagree with that...I think we still need to wait a bit to see where VITA settles.
