I hope will be a new Metroid game, Other M was fucking awful.

Amen, especially so because it came after the sublime Prime 3. It was like jumping right from RE4 to RE6.

Love to see Raven Blade revived, DK 64 2 would be too much awesome.. Can't argue with another Metroid Prime sequel either, solid franchise. Would kind of rather see something new though.

Maybe Metroid Prime 4: _______ , but a new DK Country game would be better for the sales of the WiiU

Hopefully not Metroid and hopefully something they can call their own.Something that defines them. I really wanna see what they can do on their own then I can find out if they're a hox or real replacements for golden ear Rare

My guess is it's not Metroid. Nintendo was IMO dissapointed with the sales of the recent Metroid games, not just Other M, but Prime 3 too considering the Wii was red hot when it came out.

If I had to guess I would say Star Fox Wii U is what they're primarily working on, while assisting EAD on Mario Kart U at the same time.

Retro relaunched the Metroid and DKC franchises for Nintendo, it would make sense to give them Star Fox and see if they can't kick start the franchise.

We know for a fact that Iwata has been looking for a studio to get Star Fox going again, because he approached Sakurai with the idea of making either a new Star Fox or a new Kid Icarus, and Sakurai chose Kid Icarus.

I think a really well done Star Fox would outsell a really well done Metroid as well, Star Fox is just more mainstream and there's a lot that could be done with the second screen concept in Star Fox.

I'm not sure why ppl want Retro to develop a Star Fox or F-Zero game so much. Retro is capable of creating masterpieces. The Metroid Prime trilogy was a masterpiece imo. While ppl need to not forget that Star Fox is just a in rails shooter and F-Zero is just a racing game. As fun as they can be, they can't be masterpieces, so why waste such talent? Let some less talented folks deal with these kind of games, I'm sure they will still be extremely fun, but not masterpieces cause they don't need to be and imo they can't be.

It's not what I want, it's on Nintendo, and they haven't let Retro working on any original I.P. for like 13 years now. So if its going to be a Nintendo IP, I think Star Fox would be a good fit and makes sense.

We know Iwata was looking for a studio to take over the IP anyway.

I know a lot of you guys want Metroid Prime 4, and I totally respect that.

But I think that series has run its course.

I'd prefer a new action-adventure IP or a Star Fox revival. If it HAS to be Metroid, I'd much rather have a title divorced from the Prime mythology.

I agree. Prime 3 tied it up neatly and tapped out the approach's potential.
