I remember someone suggesting the possibility of Retro working on the new Mario Kart. This better not be the case. A sequel to DK 64 would be fantastic, but I know most people want a new Metroid Prime game. I should get around to playing those.

Why not? Metroid Prime Hunters had fun online multiplayer and also, online multiplayer might help and breach out to new audiences. Plus, who is saying that people that already like Metroid wouldn't like to play it online. And you may disagree, but it's hard to take your opinion half-way serious as you completely steam-roll over mine by saying "Oh hell no." You could just say that you disagree.
Nintendo better don't screw this up, or I would be more pissed than after their E3 2011 press conference.

You sure your not mixing that up when helped with the Donkey Kong related assests and retro courses in Mario Kart 7?

With the Wii U selling the way it is, they'll have this revealed in time for E3.
I hope it's not a metroid game, I'm hoping for a re boot starfox game. ....or at least a cros of starfox and metroid please. Expand Nintendo, its ok have a few dark franchises. That's surprise me of Fire Emblem Awakening, its your most mature title in a long time.

Awakening is one of the less darker Fire Emblems.

FE4 makes Awakening look like its about puppies and kittens fighting with weapon made out of styrofoam.
