Resident Evil Revelations is one of the best games on 3DS and the best game in the series in recent memory. This game deserves good sales but seems to be underperforming and is probably the reason its getting ported to consoles. So will this game pass the million milestone and what are the chances of it getting a sequel?

Probably on Playstation 3.

i guess i should have specified, i meant the 3DS version.

I'm pretty sure that someone from Capcom said that they are NOT disappointed with 3DS sales.

"Going by the 3DS market at the time we released the game, it was definitely a success and we're certainly hoping we can repeat that success with the home console version.

Given the large development costs we had on the 3DS version, we would have liked to have even a little more sales than we did in the end. But that doesn't mean we saw it as a failure by any means."

Ya I think it was one of the guys in charge of xreating the game but I could see the big wigs not being overly happy about it. I just hope it gets a sequel, preferably for 3DS/WiiU

They wouldn't port a game because it sells poorly. That would be putting more money into something that's proven not to work.

If you choose to port a game to a new machine, it's because it's a success.

I know. I said it will probably get 1m on PS3, but with the HD release, i dont think that 3DS ver. will still have great legs(It already dont have)

There was an interview with the games director (at ign, at the time of the games 3ds release) where he was saying he was happy with the games reception and would like to make another re game in the same style (mind you that was when it appeared to be selling...as I recall it did ok sales wise for the first 2 weeks or so, and the article was during that period).
