Forums - Gaming Discussion - How come if you don't like an exclusive title you are automatically biased?

It's about your attitude. You don't get as defensive and aggressive when people talk bad about Nintendo or Sony as you do when people talk bad about Microsoft.

I know you wish people here would see you as unbiased... But being biased really isn't the same as being a blind fanboy. Or course, one doesn't go without the other. But, being biased is having preferrences. Which is totally normal. I'm particularly biased toward dark haired women.

You can have preferrences while still being reasonable.

Maybe cause there's more bad talk about MS here than the other two. And considering there is a smaller Xbox community here, some of us do need to get a little defensive to prove a point. And its not that easy to do that when you have plently of fanboys criticising everything MS does. For example, last week, a Pizza hut app turned into MS not caring about the core gamer anymore and losing focus which is quite a drastic and silly conclusion to draw.

That's a very nice excuse and all that. And I'm sure it fools some people. But the amount of people on one fan group or an other is irrelevent. You feel the need to prove a point when Microsoft is talked down, but not when it comes to Sony or Nintendo. If you were not biased, the feeling wouldn't be any different depending on what is targetted. When you'd see bullshit, you'd react accordingly regardless of what company or console is targetted. You can't ask us to believe you hate bullcrap in general when the only time you react strongly to it is when it's about Microsoft.

That being out of the way, I do agree that some fanboys go to great length to call doom on the companies. I see it going on for all 3. Regardless of the amount of user in each fangroup here.

Yes it does matter. If 10 people criticise the Xbox and there is only 1 person to defend it, its not that easy to win an argument even if they are wrong.

And, I wouldn't need to defend Sony or Nintendo cause there are plently of fans of those companies on this site. Also, if someone said something very wrong about either of those companies, then I would try to prove them wrong as well, but I hardly have to do that cause there is always other people who do it.

So are you accusing of me of having a bias towards MS just because I defend them more than the other two? If so, then you would also be called biased for defending Sony more than you defend Nintendo or MS.

You are biased, which is fine except for the fact that you deny that. Just accept/admit that you don't like Sony/Sony fans.

How come it can't just be I like this game because it is good or i don't like this game because I think it is bad?  Why does there always have to be some hidden agenda behind it?

this is more of a emotional problem...lets just say you like Coke then you will like the coca cola company...on the other hand if you do not like coke you want like the company either but you could like sprite but not that much as your favorite drink is lets say beer then you favorite company is heineken..im trying to say is you are more connected to things you love simple as that. lol

So when it comes to Microsoft, you always have the opportunity to defend them because hardly anyone does... But when it comes to Sony and Nintendo, you always get into the arguments later than everyone else, so you don't need to interfere since there's always someone who did it for you first?

How convenient.

Yup that's what I said. To be honest with you, I don't really post many defensive posts and I stay away from threads with lots of fanboys of either side arguing with each other. If I were to be a very defensive Xbox fanboy like you accuse me of being, then I would be posting around here much more often.
