Can we make a pact? That we shall never respond to any post or especially thread whose sole intent is to take a shit on a competitor. They do it for attention. So let's make a pact .. No more responses.
as the saying goes 'dont feed the trolls'
@snyps:
Unfortunately that will never work. Believe me I've tried similar things numerous times in the past, but they simply refuse to listen. Guess that's just us humans for yah.

And yeah same situation here, although I do have a Wii but it hasn't been sering much play lately outside of good ol Ecco the Dolphin here and there hehe. |
Yea there is a difference between fan and fanboy. Fan = someone who likes a company, fanboy = someone who likes a company and purposely puts other companies down mainly to irritate the other fan base. I should have used fanboy in my original sentence but I don't like the word that much (just like how I don't like using hardcore and casual). You can get banned on VGC for calling someone a fanboy. However, there is nothing wrong with calling someone a fan.

I prefer the term "elitist." Leaves less personal interpretation and a stronger sense of what that person is about.

I thought about correcting you on "marrow minded," but then I realized you're calling them boneheads. :p

That seems to be a pretty good term. I might have to start using it. I like how Nintendo puts casual and intense when rating games. I wouldn't like voting for hardcore but I have no problem voting a game intense.

Well to me a fan is juat someone who enjoys something while a fanboy is the type of person who likes it so much, they refuse to believe theres other things as good or better than it
