Apparantly to release a new CoD every year until it gets worn out is a strategy worth a raise.

Nintendo has a similar strategy and it has worked extremely well for them.

Strike while the iron is hot.

That is a popular misconception. Every CoD plays the same, but every Mario doesnt play the same. Just cause it has the same character doesnt mean it is the same game. For example Mario 64, Mario Sunshine and Mario Galaxy are all Mario 3D sequals and yet they all play differently. Activision is not even close to that.

Besides. Nintendo doesnt do yearly releases of the same titles.

First of all; I agree with you Nem. No Mario (or even Zelda) title plays exactly like the last one, BUT... I'm just gonna say; Mario Party.........

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Mario party's are not anual and vary on gameplay as they all have different mini-games. :) Doesnt mean everyone finds it worth it to buy every new one though.

Yes, they are not annual releases, and they all feature different mini-games, they have released something like 10 different Mario Partys in like 15 years? That really IS milking a franchise :P

I wasn't referring to those games with Mario. Even without being annual releases series like New Super Mario Bros, Smash Bros, and Mario Kart haven't evolved much.

Either way, I'm not really trying to crap on NIntendo. I'm just a lot of companies are guilty of rehashing games. Annual or not.

Sony would probably have to make profit for 10 years in a row before he would get a 800% raise.

that's exactly what the world needs.

another fat rich greedy bastard becoming fater and richer(and greedier)

I prefer that over the many people in the world who choose to contribute nothing.

There are worse things in this world than rich people.

Yeah...and a lot of the problems are being caused by rich people. Theres nothing more corrupt than watching economical failures and fat cats being caught getting massively high wages they dont deserve and massive bonuses after some sort of downfall or drop in quality occurs. American business methodology 101.
