Jokes aside, how does Shinobido 2 gameplay? Is it like Tenchu? Do i need to play prequel before playing this?

I really enjoyed it.

It's a decent mission-based stealth game... you have your hub which is basically a series of menus where you buy items, craft weapons etc. then you choose a mission from one of three factions and go out and complete it.  Missions can be all sorts - kill all enemies; kill x person; rescue x person; escort ox cart etc.  And you can choose to do them however you want - going in all-guns-blazing; stealthily pick people off one by one; lay traps etc.

The only real criticism I have of the game is theres only about 8-10 different environments and they all get reused for the different missions.  But, I'm used to that kinda stuff from cheap Japanese games (Neptunia does the same) and honestly I find it quite endearing.

Awesome! But you still haven't answered all my questions though :)

How's the story? Is it heavily related with the prequel?
