According to the last round of rumours, it does not enable BC in Durango, its basically an xbox without a disk drive (according to EG).
So if its the later, are we expecting them to drop the current XBox and just have a single Xbox 360 model.

depends on whether nextbox has built in BC perhaps. Would still be strange not to have a 360 with a disc drive though.

And if I posted a picture of the flyer, you'd just yell "photoshopped"? Some people are so predictable...
(for the rest of the people, google Media Markt Sihlcity, and download "Prospekte")

I never doubted you. I thought it was some mediamarkt- or saturn-discount. But you are right - I think MS can go far lower than Sony can with PS3.
I'm hoping the Stingray is $99. I can't see a 360 with no disc drive selling well for $149.
Also, is the 360 S gonna stay $200 - $300?
So many questions!!!!

The rumor said it is to compete with AppleTV so $99 is more likely.
What is the benefit of a diskless 360? And Sony could introduce the 12gb PS3 in US for $149, 250gb-$199, 500gb-$250 or 12gb-$179, 500gb-$250 and discontinue the 250gb

Well I imagine their goal would to compete with digital boxes on the market. So gaming would probably be pushed as a feature other than its purpose.

So in that sense it wouldnt really affect PS3?
