It's hard to say if they will reach 100m or not(that would be great though).  It really depends if they continue to sell well after the PS4 and NeXbox comes out.  As far as the Stingray rumor goes, I won't make a prediction on that until it is confirmed.  

It will be some time before the end of the year if current trends continue but its impossible to really say with conviction as we've not had proper shipment figures for a while for the PS3. If Sony don't give us a total PS3 shipment figure then we cannot give it the nod.

PS3 has most likely passed 360 in shipments already. people just expected to hear something from sony about it but they haven't said anything. i dont think sony will even mention it.

well since Xbox came out a year b4 PS3, and PS3's horrible launch. Xbox got a little ahead for a bit. but we have always sold more per year since late 2009. 

Xbox had better sales in a year for 2 years over PS3 

PS3 had better sales in a year for 4 years over Xbox360

PS3 has always been winning ever since late 2009. only reason is cause Xbox had a year advantage, and PS3 launched at $600 yeah....
