But seriously I always have consider myself a hybrid casual. I love playing Marios, CoDs, Rock Bands, Halos, Maddens and Final Fantasies games. Those games are by most consider casual games. Then I play some other games that most casual gamers wouldn't play. I love all games in general.

ehh i dont know, i wouldnt even consider you a gamer. you just dont seem to like the hobby that is gaming.

Most forum dwellers are hardcore or at least moderate gamers. Casuals dont give a shit about forums, because they have bigger things to worry about.

I used to be,but I scaled back alot. It has 2 do with working third shift and never having enough time for anything.

Actually no. He's a hardcore gamer, just a Nintendo hardcore gamer. Casual is a person who doesnt dedicate time to gaming, its just done in passing and they don't really care. A gamer is a hobbyist. Thousands of hours into one game is not casual in the slightest.

Hardcore games =/= Hardcore gamer. 

Hardcore gamer= Hobbyist

Hardcore games= Made for the hobbyist.

Casual games= Games made for people with a passing interest in gamers.

A hardcore gamer can play casual games, but hes/she is still a hardcore gamer.

You're around hardcore gamer if you've dedicated thousands of hours to your console regardless of the game.

Theres no such thing. A casual can be good at games, but doesnt play them like a hobbyist (or hardcore gamer). IE: COD is not a casual game but plenty of casuals play it when they have the time. A hardcore gamer is a hobbyist.

Core gamer is short for hardcore. From what I have seen of you your knowledge is really up there.
