Forums - Sony Discussion - Gran Turismo 6 on PS3, confirmed by an Italian dealer

They come further confirmation about the arrival of Gran Turismo 6 on PlayStation 3 by the end of this year. This time the source is the well-known Italian portal Multiplayer.com , which has included in its price lists online the possibility to book the game at a great price of 59.90 € with release scheduled for 29 November 2013, confirming in a way that was leaked a few days ago from a U.S. retailer. There is also the alleged cover image of the game, available below, but of course this should be a temporary solution.

Multiplayer.com does not provide further descriptions about the game, explaining simply that "The best driving simulator returns to his brand-new edition for PS3."

Is not indicated the presence of a PlayStation version 4, although in many betting that Gran Turismo 6 could be a cross-gen title with PlayStation 3. In any case, it is a further confirmation for a launch that until a few months ago seemed impossible enthusiasts and insiders stated as fact the launch on the new console, considered also the long development times typical of Polyphony Digital. But it appears they are making clear the surprise, with a new episode on PlayStation 3. We await official comment from Sony.

i dont get sony if they are really announcing this for the ps3. i mean wtf? you know sony there is something called the PS4 and its coming out later this year

Pushing PS4 launch vs grabbing money on the PS3. I hope this turns out to be GT6: Prologus. Gran Turismo 6 really belongs on the PS4.

the thing is they are basically killing drive club with this. they should have launched GT6 next year on the holidays along side uncharted 4. then the ps4 would sell like hot cakes in 2014

GT7 will come to PS4 anyway and they'll use the same models from the PS3 games so development time shouldn't be much of an issue and a GT7 should be seen within a couple of years.

GT6 on PS3 allows them to make a tonne of cash and reuse the same engine, and of course prevents the murder of driveclub.

I am a little disappointed, as I really wanted to see what PD could do with next gen hardware using their amazing franchise.
