Ive got this weird problem with my computer. It runs perfectly fine but when just in the last week. whenever I play a game of either steam or origin it completely freezes my computer after about 10 minutes play time. 

Desktop pc. And its not revving up really louding like it usually does so not sure if its a temperature problem.

any one kow what this is or how to fix it.

there's basically no dust. Cant be any sort of hardware failure can it

how old is the computer? it sounds like something is overheating, or a power supply that is starting to fail and can't power your computer under high loads. If its an older computer you may need to reapply the thermal paste for the cpu. not sure on how you can check the power supply. if you have two sticks of ram try the computer with each stick seperatly to see if its a ram problem.

Its only 2 years old. the ram idea sounds good. Its weird if its an overheating thing. because in the summer any time I do anything like gaming it sounds like a generator but now its getting colder even when I play games its staying nice and quiet just completely freezing no other action freezes except gaming

are you sure your fans are actually working? make sure they are spinning when the computer is on, especially the fan on the cpu. I have had similar problems in the past and it came down to a bad power supply (which are the hardest to diagnose as when they start going bad they make other pieces go bad). Also have you updated any drivers? or any windows updates? sometimes those can mess up a computer too.

If it was overheating I would expect it to auto shut off as a fail safe. Freezing during gameplay could be faulty RAM, video drivers, or even an issue with the motherboard. The first thing I'd try is uninstalling the video drivers and installing older stable ones from before you were having this issue. If that doesn't work I'd try swapping our one RAM stick at a time to see if one of them might have a fault. If that doesn't work you can try reinstalling windows. If you have an onboard video video card you can trying putting in a dedicated card with stable drivers. Or if you running a dedicated card you can try taking it out and running onboard video or pop in another video card with stable drivers. It could also be a faulty power supply not sending enough juice to your video card or CPU.

Next, uninstall and reinstall graphics drivers, direct X, do a windows update and do a run of CCleaner (Both cleanup and registry fix.)

Download Coretemp and watch those temperatures, if they are exceeding 60'C on an AMD CPU, then it's to high, AMD's whitepapers have for the last several generations stated 61'c should be your maximum.

(Please note that AMD CPU's have a temperature bug, add a 13'C offset because of it.)
Even if temperatures get high, then you shouldn't have any worries even if it hits 70-80'C, the PC should still run, just thermal throttle.

Finally, has your hard drive been clicking? Do you have an OCZ Vertex SSD? What brand and wattage is your power supply? What graphics card do you have? (Some brands of cards had dodgy paste, which could cause a GPU failure.)
What's your idle GPU temperatures, have you tried manually setting your graphics card fan speed to maximum before launching anything?
