For the one hundreth billionth time: it's not Sonic RPG.

I would expect Surfer Girl to reveal it sometime between February 8th-15th and the magazine actually revealed one to two days after that.


I foolishly assumed that everyone would know it can't be Sonic RPG at this point and figured his post had to have been a joke. The issue with Sonic is out and on the back is where the whole mess started so how could people not know it had nothing to do with the game by now? Still, it is nice to know I at least tricked one person.

Ok, if you think about how IGN keeps reporting an old Nintendo franchise is returning but they can't say anything about it, then factor in Nintendo teasing everyone with an RPG story, then the love Earthbound is getting on Brawl, it could very well be the next Earthbound game finally returning to the states.

Well the original post wasn't how I intended to make the joke. To see that in action you can check the original thread for this where I manage to get a couple people with it. I had to stop because someone had posted it was Sonic RPG right before me. I really didn't expect anyone to follow up on that post. So I guess it was the worst sarcastic post ever, but I have done the same joke in a better way previously so I can save some face that way.
