I was taught to write/say "Are you smarter than me?" Don't know if you were trying to be funny and troll the OP by correcting his grammar like so many people do on internet forums in order to feel smart, but just had to point out your grammar is incorrect as far as I know. If it was just a joke, bravo.
When a person is an object of the sentence and stated as so in the first person, "me" is used. In a case where that person is the subject, then "I" is used. For example to the latter, "Are you smarter than I think I am?" Here, "I" is the subject of its fragment. You wouldn't hear someone say "Are you smarter than me think I am."
OT, no. I couldn't answer the question reasonably because I don't believe there is a definitive answer. Just too many intelligences to consider. But if we're talking about IQ or academics or related topics which so many attribute to intelligence, I am just slightly above average...but reading from the posts, I think the people on this site are higher than average too, so any advantages for me become moot.
