Correction, not just EU but in world. Its way bigger then superbowl for exemple.


An investment in superbowl is way more fruitious than in CL.

- SB has a culture of ads and Americans pay more attention to ads than Europeans as you see talks and compilations of ads for weeks after the bowl.

- America is the biggest software/hardware market.

My point is not to demean CL that I watch every year but to show the impact of commercial in both events.


300+ million compared to 115 million for superbowl. The difference is huge and the reason is unlike superbowl CL final is watched world wide by millions.

I'm convinced they'll reveal the console before May 25th then.

I'm no advertising expert, but I can't image an advertisement that doesn't show the product being very effective.

Hmm, seems odd to advertise so early.

It's before E3 too, so they're not going to have much to show. That PS4 trailer they have on Youtube isn't going to have a very wide appeal.

hmm, maybe Sony has a plan to finally show the console in the advert. Like, current rumors suggest the 720'S announcement is in May, and considering the Champions League Final in the end of May, maybe Sony will try to take away some of the 720's hype by revealing the console's look in the advert.
