May is a bit early ain't it? Unless they are trying to drown out the competitions early announcement or someone messed the dates up? Idk but may seems way off.

The console likely wont be releasing until late November. October at the earliest.

....ok, but still why advertise before e3? That just don't add up, also they launch in November but advertise in may with 6 months to go? That makes no sense what so ever because 6 months ain't right around the corner, that's a very long time. I am not buying it someone have the dates or the console information wrong.

But why advertise so early? Sony doesn't have deep pockets so they need to use that marketing budget wisely and it would be better if they spent money for advertising, close to the PS4's launch. Cause advertising for a product nearly 6 months before it releases isn't very smart. However, if its only 1 advert during the final and not wide scale adverting around the world, then its a good move.
