Do you mean Mistwalkers? Are they working on a Wii U game? Would be great if they did! But yeah, sounds like reasonable expectations! |

But they're far from rehashes, wouldn't you say? The characters might be the same, and most of the mechanics might be the same, but everything else is different... Just look at that comparison; Nintendo's franchises changes with almost each new iteration, right? That's not rehashing, that's evolving a series...

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
They will announce release dates and give us new trailers for 3d mario, mario kart, yoshi game, wii fit u, wii party u, WW, wonderful 101, bayonetta 2. All of those will be released this year.
They will show trailers for SSBU, X, Fire emblem. All of which will be released in 2014.
They will surprise us with miyamoto's new IP, Retros new project, and likely Wii sports U.
They will reveal a new 3ds model, and possible at least 1 new 3ds title.
They will say something about Zelda U. And have at least 1 more "good" surprise i didn't mention.
Those are my predictions.

Mistwalker staff has said they look forward to developing on Wii U. Nothing is confirmed yet, but I expect their next title to be published by Nintendo like the Last Story. They have said they intend to make more action-RPG's. It's been 2 years since LS, so an announcement of LS2 could be incoming. It's in line with Nintendo's partnership strategy as well. |
Yeah, it all sounds very feasible, yet... I doubt we'll see anything from Mistwalker and Nintendo THIS e3 - but I hope I'm wrong =)
And as a side note; I really need to plat TLS, haven't done that yet =/

Seems to be in line with everybody else is expecting, including me. Would be great if they could do exactly this! :D

So what do you count as quality then? I mean, they'll show Mario, Mario Kart, SSB4, Zelda, X, Retro, Yoshi and a buch of other games as well... Watch Dogs, Destiny, AssCreed4.... |
Those are good but I desire a bit more..
I'm thinking of some unannounced games. something like a new metroid, a new pokemon game for consoles that is actually good, perhaps a Mario RPG U, new IPs (specially if they are RPG based), a partnership to bring unexpected 3rd party games like GTA 5...
Dear god, atleast 5 of those kind of announcements at the E3 and I'll be happy with Nintendo again (but they must be coming soon. I don't need them to tell me that they will release a new Metroid or Zelda game in 5 years)

Yeah, I understand ya and agree (somewhat; I'm pretty happy with those games I mentioned ^^)! New IP's from Nintendo would be great, ESPECIALLY if they aren't kiddy and fluffy :P And some partnerships wouldn't hurt, like the ones they have with Platinum...

From a GameZone interview a while back:
GZ: Could The Last Story possibly lead to more action-RPGs — not necessarily in this franchise — but maybe some action-RPGs for the Wii U with a similar style from the same development team?
TM: The development team and Sakaguchi-san are looking forward to making more, especially for the Wii U because it has another [screen] right in front of you that will add another level of strategic elements into the action-RPG. So we are really looking forward to it, but we haven't really planned anything.
I'm hoping something's underway but it may be too early for this one. I'll have to be satisfied with X for now... and I think I will be very satisfied.

That is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. First of all the pics aren't even similar in the way they were taken. Ife I showed the back of Mario in Mario 64 and Galaxy and Galaxy 2 like the Sony games show of Uncharted they would look the same. If I showed the side of mario in a kart for Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart (whatever gamecube version was named), mario kart double dash it would all look the same.
