3ds is literally a beast now. Nintendo needs to focus on Wii U imo

Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

Great news all around today.

My 3DS XL Fire Emblem Edition arrives on Saturday or Monday. This week was a perfect time to finally order a 3DS.

Already available for me:
Fire Emblem (bought), Ocarina of Time (bought), Tales of the Abyss (bought), Luigi's Mansion, Virtue's Last Reward, Prof. Layton 4, Paper Mario, Super Mario 3D Land, Pullblox/Fallblox, HarmoKnight, The Denpa Men, Crimson Shroud, Link's Awakening DX (I never played that before)

Upcoming & release confirmed:
Etrian Odyssey IV, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Bravely Default, Project X Zone, Link to the Past 2, Yohi's Island 3D, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, Ace Attorney 5, Fantasy Life

Western release still to be confirmed (afaik), but very likely:
Dragon Quest VII, Prof. Layton vs. Phoenix Wright

Yes, but like many Japanese major publishers, they are divided on either farming out easy money copy cat games such as Monster Hunter clones or free to play/pay to advance games or nostalgia filled sequels/remakes.

Edit: Meanwhile on topic, it sucks that they aren't releasing this until 2014 but I get it, Nintendo is dropping too much for the 3DS this year although it would be the perfect cherry on top of what could probably be the greatest year of RPG gaming ever.

I would've had no time. And NoE is wayyy better at localizing than NoA. We will get a good one.
