What a shitty situation, it just reeks of fraud. Judging by the ~50/50 vote and your pictures, could you imagine a civil war breaking out?

A civil war? Maybe, this is the first time in years that people go on the streets to fight. We have some soldiers from the military on our side, but some of them are currently in jail. I honestly don't know what will happen.

I can`t believe this is happening in Venezuela.
It`s like you see the news on TV and all is fine and next thing, you see these pictures and the people on the streets... surreal.
JoeTheBro said: I really know nothing of the situation in Venezuela, but is it obvious that Capriles got the majority of votes? |
Capriles asked for a recount and we have evidence of the government sabotaging the voting centers. It's in our right to ask for a recount, if Maduro really won, then why the government is doing all this? The burning of the boxes and the violence confirms there's a fraud here.

This is just like what happened here in Mexico in the 2012. The fraud was obvious, and there was lots of evidence... but the fraud president stuck, and people have just accepted it and forgotten about it.
Hopefully your people fight back and don't accept the lies coming from the government.

I can't see the video, but if they're burning the votes then is nothing compared to what happened in Mexico last year, if anything it is what happened in 1988 when Salinas won. In Mexico last year more than 50% of the votes were recounted and it didn't change anything a tiny bit.
