Wii U better have the best E3 ever.

Also, no japanese direct? Hm, must be Miiverse/maybe western game? Im hoping for Zelda.

Actually I think they are trying to secure some 3rd party deals before making another WIi U direct. What would be the purpose of doing one if they have nothing new/relevant to show?

I don´t need more reasons to love my 3DS. I need some reason to buy a Wii U.

A japanese one should be announced for maximum hype. Unfortunately, it is midnight right now, so maybe in around 10-12 hours.

What I believe it will be show:
- Oracle games release date, April 25-30th for both NA and EU.
- Animal Crossing New Leaf release date, bundle for EU, not for NA. May for both.
- DKCReturns 3D for May confirmed, NA, EU at the end of May or June
- Mario and Luigi Dream Team release date, June 30th-July 15th for NA and EU
- Mario Golf (with a new subtitle) for August, NA and EU
- Shin Megami Tensei IV confirmed for NA, july release. EU TBA.
- BDFF announced for NA and EU, september at best, but maybe Q4 title
- Pokemon information, no release date, only October worldwide mention, again.


In regards of Wii U, silence. Maybe new info at Investor's Meeting this 24th, will be the focus in the E3.

I figured there would be a ND this week as its a week before the investors meeting, but I'm highly surprised the focus is on 3DS.

Unless there is also a Thursday ND that will focus on Wii U and the Wednesday ND will simply be a prelude to that.

Nintendo needs to talk about Wii U first party software dates otherwise investors are going to lack any confidence.

What's interesting is that this Nintendo Direct will be shown a few hours before the 3DS Press Event that IGN was talking about a few weeks ago.

Anyways, looking forward to Wednesday.

Maybe they're saving the Wii U Direct for when the Virtual Console launches? I think Iwata said it was launching very soon after the spring update, so maybe early May?

Or maybe the Wii U Direct is on friday?

Well, 3DS is doing fine in the west but could soitenly be doing better, so I don't know why this is a big surprise. Won't be around to watch it, but look forward to finding out what it's about in any case.

I'm also a bit unsure why people want a Wii-U presentation. There needs to be one to announce dates for titles that I hope to God are going to be finished soon (Pikmin; W101; G&W), but otherwise we had a big blowout of games not too long ago and you know... they're going to take time to make. I suppose Nintendo could start backlogging projects to make people happy ("in 3-4 years we will make a Star Fox home console game") but that doesn't seem like such a good idea.  Only other thing I can think of is a showcase of 3rd party titles, which I'm sure will come with time.
