Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Zangeki no Reginleiv (Wii) gets English Patch (Link)

Tagged games:

Like Fatal Frame 4 before it, the blood-splattered Japan-exclusive Wii action game Zangeki no Reginleiv now has an English fan translation.

Here's the link:

For those of you who haven't heard of the game, here's a trailer:

As i explained in another thread earlier: if it's just a patch (that can only work with an iso or a legit copy of the game that you acquire elsewhere) it's fine to distribute links to it. If the page also contains a link to the iso proper (or a patched iso), then it's a no-go.

This is totally win, though. The one game i bought in Japan, now patched!

It actually wasn't too hard to navigate in Japanese, just because its not very text intensive. There are only a few times the game has to explain something to you (the first time you fight the great ogre Flungluni, for instance).

It would be nice to make a touch more sense of the story. It all seemed kind of tragic, though you were never quite sure when someone was gone for good

It works with a legit copy of the game, it's just I wouldn't know an iso if I was slapped over the face with one. XD

Can I send you the link so you can judge?

I speak conversational Japanese, but I never did get the hang of kanji, so I read it very badly and would have struggled with the game unless most of it is kana.

Sure, message me a link.

There was a hell of a lot of kanji, but i figured out the important stuff quickly enough (notably how to navigate the weapon upgrade tree).

Does the original game work on a PAL Wii though? or only on US NTSC system?

I assume you load the patch on the SD card?

Your Wii need to be region unlocked (jailbroken) to play it, unless it's a Japanese Wii.

Oh YEAH!
Even more reason to import this game for those who haven't!

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!
