whats the most emotional game you ever played?

Forums - Gaming Discussion - whats the most emotional game you ever played?

Haven't played many "emotional" games.

But I'd have to go with either Okami or Metroid Prime.

Final Fantasy VIII - I really felt Squall's plight about being an orphan and I felt that he really loved Riona. Awe man and at the end of the game I was hoping that Squall wasn't dead. Best Final Fantasy ever and best emotional game!

This, Metal Gear Solid 3, Metal Gear Solid 4, Kingdom Hearts 1 &2, Shadow of the Colossus, Final Fantasy X.

Most recent: ICO (played it today for the first time actually )
Others: To the Moon, Braid, MGS4 and give me time to think of more.

Edit: Oh shit. Half-Life 2 and the Episodes (especially Ep 2...), Heavy Rain, Valkyria Chronicles

Deadly Premonition strangely enough.

I would say Deadly Premonition is emotional, and brutally twisted sometimes. But the most emotional game you've ever played? Really?

Actually Braid, really fucked me up at the end there.

Braid is a nice example, yup. I've checked your Game Collection. Don't you consider Lost Odyssey as pretty emotional too? Just curious ò.O

It is, I haven't finished yet though... reminds me I should really get on that soon.

great that you said to the moon! i mean, that game is the reason why we are friends on vgchartz, how emotional is that!

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK. The Walking Dead! criss reminded me of it, don't ask me why

I cared about keeping clementine alive in The Walking Dead, but I don't really consider it a real video game. It and Heavy Rain are interactive entertainment, but not video games.

I almost felt as strongly about about Yorda in Ico.

The new Tomb Raider was an emotional ride.

All the Mass Effect games are emotional and Halo 4 is as well.

There's something to be said about the smaller digital titles. Quite a few of them really affect ones emotions.

How come you not consider them videogames?
