I thought the PS3 had the most diverse titles out there but apparently; COD is the most popular.

lol CoD is the most popular franchise in the games in today market... no other game actualy can compete with it.

Only the CoD sales in this generation is bigger than a lot of console games sales combined (GC, XBOX, etc sold less software than CoD sold this gen).

A part of me hopes the series soon dies out because of the many other fps games that come out to join on the bandwagon of FPS games but another part of me doesnt because it helps the overall gaming industry as it sales so much.

Wii Sports Resort 31.54 million
Wii Play 28.02 million
New Super Mario Bros. Wii 27.61 million
Wii Fit 22.67 million
Wii Fit Plus 20.48 million
Super Smash Bros. Brawl 10.79 million
Super Mario Galaxy 10.68 million

For the M$ fans, I wouldn't really mock and  brag due to being destoyed by the Big N. For the most part Sony is doing well this gen and will end up with a few 10 mill + when all is said and done and the PS3 will outsell the 360.

Edit: Had a few drinks and could have sworn someone made a comment about no first party games reaching 10 mil. If I'm wrong, my bad!
