Right, but they can still bring .hack back with a new "series"...I beat vol. 1-3....but they can always introduce a new adventure. e.g. Halo 3 was the "last" one, but it's not.

There were other .hack games before the .hack//G.U. trilogy.
The .hack//G.U. trilogy is over, but they can still continue on the "World" with other adventures and characters.
