Forums - Politics Discussion - Is Obama the Worst President that we have ever had?

not even memes can save our always vacationing president dingle-barry.

it must be nice to vacation around the world on others dime. especially the people who work all the time and cant afford vacations its their money that had to pay for it and telling them they dont pay enough that they need more without even cutting the first damn cent. Then he lies to me saying that they already cut the deficit and we are in a recovery since 2009 apparently.

Bush 4.8% unemployment was disaster.
Obama 7.8% is a recovery with millions and millions less working.

as far as gun control, i have two words for that POS in his ivory tower. Molon Labe.

So the guy that has been working on fixing a destroyed economy and getting us out of two wars is worse than the guy whose policies crashed our economy and got us into two wars? No, he is not the worst president. Congress passes the laws, the president just signs them.

However, if your argument was that this is the worst congress ever, you might be right.

Bush had a democratic controlled congress the last 2 years of his presidency, which was ironically when our country started its decline and recession. So if congress passes the laws and the president is just a figurehead, then it would be the democrats fault for the recession not republicans.

You guys stick to arguing about video games on this site, you are clueless when it comes to politics. You know absolutely nothing.

Blaming the recession solely on the dems? Sounds like you're the clueless one. Does deregulation ring a bell? Both parties had a hand in it.

OT: Obama has been disappointing, but worst president ever? Was OP born yesterday or something, or was he just sleeping through the Bush and Cheney years?

Is it possible for anyone to be worse then Bush?

Our country is now in permanent decline thanks to Obama. I feel sorry for those that think he's actually helping the country, it will be a slow and painful death for this country, and the dollar keeps weakening little by little until it collapses. Barack Obama is like a turtle that people repeatedly put on top of a pedestal only to suffer.

He is one of the worst for sure.

He is a poor leader that worries about pointing the finger and finding someone to blame rather than uniting others and working together.

The national debt under his leadership has went up from 9 trillion to almost 17 trillion and he just begun his second term.  This is by far the biggest increase under any president.  It took us over 230 years to reach 9 trillion and Obama has almost matched that himself in just his presidency alone.

Somehow 48-50% of the population still approve of this clown.

We need to stop reelecting failed presidents.

Couldn't have said that better myself. Thank you for being rational. I don't understand how people can keep lining up in droves to vote for this clown.

@Dmick90

Yep.  We are in the slowest recovery (after a recession) in US history.

A lot of presidents inherit recessions and don't whine about it.  Even Bush (who wasn't a good president) inherited a recession from Clinton and you didn't hear him tryijng to play the bloame game (especially for 4.5 years)

@Dmick90

People are too obsessed with party lines.  I wish we would get rid of parties and just let presidents run on the issues.  People treat politics like it is a football game or something and they will defend their team to the end (Dem or Repub)

Whether people agree with most of Obama's policies or not....I can't see how anyone thinks he is a strong leader.

Leaders unite others and take responsinbility.  Obama divides others, points fingers, and does not lead.

He is a terrible leader.

Exactly, with the dot com bubble burst in 2000, 9/11, people spending beyond their means, banks pushing loans on unqualified recipients, and many other things Bush inherited from the Clinton era. Bush had no control over things like gas prices, and world economy which also contributed to our recession.

Well, what do you expect from the worst economic crash since the Great Depression. The Great Depression took 12 years and a war to recover from, why do you expect this one to be fixed so quickly? Also, while Bush did inherit a minor recession from Clinton, the way he fixed it was terrible. When an economy crashes you should cut taxes and raise spending, and do the opposite when the economy is doing well to prepare for the next recession. Instead, Bush cut taxes and continued the tax cuts even after the recession was over, and raised spending massivly with two wars. What we need to do is cut entitlements and the military, use some of that money to fix the economy, and then raise taxes and cut spending once it is fixed.
