Forums - Politics Discussion - Is Obama the Worst President that we have ever had?

Not the worst president ever. But he's trying real hard to beat Bush, Nixon, and the others.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Well, our nation has shown recovery since he first stepped into office, but everyone knows that those are all cooked numbers and everything is a lie.

Maybe in the US, but I don't think the rest of the world would think that..

But he was voted in for a second term you say? He won by a large margin you say?

Ok, but look at the yahoo he was running again. I would not vote for that yahoo even if he had the King of Nolth Kolea's head on a spike.

  1. Obama has destroyed our healthcare system
  2. Put us in massive debt
  3. Failed to fix any mistakes that The Bush brought upon us
  4. Made the poor, poorer.
  5. Taken away some of our God given rights, such as: Large Sodas in New york.
  6. Failed with gun laws
  7. Failed to get us out of any war started 10 years ago or more
  8. He Destroyed the Gulf of Mexico, and now we will probably go to War with Mexico before North Korea ever gets real balls to.
  9. Legalized Marijuana, so that now all kids can have a starter drug in certain states.
  10. Made our country look like it was run by Kindergarteners to the rest of ther world.
  11. Destroyed our Credit rating

I cannot imagine any president ever being able to top that. Even The Bush was not that bad. Despite being a rather Stinky President as well.  At least he was fun to make fun of.

Wow, almost all of your bullet points would apply to "W" too....

Stop hating and start playing.

You got two Bushs and think Obama is the worst president ever ? Geez. You sure never left America.

he is the worst because, he inherit a VERY good, top performing country from an awesome president....

and why is he not passing new laws? it is not like republican would hinder them....

So the guy that has been working on fixing a destroyed economy and getting us out of two wars is worse than the guy whose policies crashed our economy and got us into two wars? No, he is not the worst president. Congress passes the laws, the president just signs them.

However, if your argument was that this is the worst congress ever, you might be right.

Hes a mediocre president. Which is in some ways worse than just being bad but most of your arguments are kinda silly. Hes the worst because he didn't fix all the catastrophic mistakes of the last guy? Wouldn't that make the last guy worse?

1. Healthcare system was already crap.

2. The debt is the result of the recession... thats on Bush and Clinton.

3. Silly

4. Poorer have been getting poorer for quite some time.

5. What? That was Bloomberg.

6. So has every other president.

7. What about the guy that got us into the wars in the first place?

8. So he personally dived into the pacific ocean and caused the oil spill?

9. Lol

10. They felt that way for some time. And at this point that would be the pot calling the kettle black.

11. Republicans more to blame for that one and number 10.

It's unfortunate he was elected in this particular time period. All the blame with rest with him, unfairly. Not the worst, but certainly not a good one.

In a time where the economy is/was teetering he felt the need to press for healthcare reform, gay rights, and other social issues as opposed to addressing the jobs situation. It isn't the job of the POTUS or the government to create jobs, but it is their duty to provide incentives for businesses to create them. One could argue, he and congress have done the exact opposite.

Futhermore, he has labeled the national debt as "no big deal." Why should that surprise me, he has maintained this bourgeois attitude throughout his tenure. Kicking the can down the road doesn't work. Address the disproportionate increase in outlays over the course of the past decade as compared to revenues.
