Rayman Legends delay results in 30 new levels, 'several' new boss fights

Rayman Legends' extra time in the oven has resulted in developer Ubisoft Montpelier adding 30 extra levels and several new boss fights. "Trust me, the things we are adding aren't minor. We're not talking about adding some polish here and there, but 30 new levels and several new bosses," Senior Game Manager Michael Micholic said in an interview with Official Nintendo Magazine.

Rayman Legends has been delayed twice, the most recent delay last month when it got pushed to September in favor of a simultaneous launch across Wii U, Xbox 360 and PS3. The reception of this latest delay was negative, to say the least, with even Rayman creator Michel Ancel joining in on the protest.

That's pretty cool.

I was interested in this game when I heard it was going multi-plat but now what's the point? WiiU ver. is obviously the more superior one I wouldn't be able to live with myself knowing that I spent $60 on a crappier version

Can't wait. Knew going multi plat was the right choice :)

Well at least the delay will result in a better game for my money.

Still its going to be much harder purchase come September when who know what else will be available for my money. Whereas in Feb it was a done deal, day one.

You are welcome WiiU owners.

oh sorry where are my manners...thankyou Rafux. I am forever in your debt. I realise you are the sole person in the entire univers to thank for this remarkable turn of events and that without you (above all others) it never would have happened. I have converted part of my house into a shrine in your honour. thank you sooo much.

Good news for me. I don't care if the games that I like are released on other platforms, I don't buy games to brag with my brothas. Thanks to the delay I'll get more value for my money
