Forums - Gaming Discussion - Batman: Arkham Origins (October 25h, 360, PS3, PC, Wii U) + Handheld versions

- Prequel not a sequel
- Not developed by Rocksteady
- On last gen consoles, but not next gen consoles

For me it looks like a low-risk cash in on a strong brand than anything else. I will have rather lower expectations for this game.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

I can't wait for the Vita vs 3DS comparison. Can't wait to find out which sells more too...

If it's released at the same time on the Wii U, it's going to have a better attach rate than on the HD systems. You heard it from me first.

I LOVE ICELAND!

Interested in the handheld title.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Hope it's actually good. Especially the handheld one.

No PS4? Surprising...

But more Arkham is good news. Will likely pick up the Wii U version.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

yeah I'm disappointed that there's no PS4 announcement, but hell wiiU got AC a year afterwards and with the architecture they may yet port it.  Not Rocksteady for either is worrying but if the handheld one is good at least it's coming to Vita and is a different game.  Don't mind prequel as long as we meet some new guys so we don't know exactly how things will turn out for everyone.  Also having Batgirl would be a plus since she's already paralyzed in AA.

it could be good, but I'm not going to blindly get my hopes up.

I know what you mean.  I don't make judgements until I've seen gameplay or maybe if I really trust the dev and the people who preview it (like Sessler and other loving LoU and it being made by ND, yet I have averted my eyes of all gameplay so I can be blown away on release)

It looks good, but I set my expectations down when it said rocksteady was not making it. I'm also surprised there isn't a durango and ps4 version announced to.
