Forums - General Discussion - Personality types! Tell us about yourself :)

I've been testing out this personality chart on various people, and it seems like almost everybody can be fairly accurately described through the use of one of the 16 personality types that can be gained from this exercise.

http://www.personalitypathways.com/type_inventory.html

Above is a link for a simple test to determine which of the 16 you are. It's only 4 questions long, so it's important to deeply consider your answer to each of these to help your result be as accurate to your personality as possible.

Once you've answered all 4 questions, you will be able to see a 4-letter code. This code can be used in the link below to see what sort of personality you could be described as!

I think it would be really interesting to see what different types we have on VGChartz, or whether gamers are more likely to be one particular type over another. If we get enough responses I may even put a table in the OP!

Of course, don't feel obliged to post your personality type if you feel it's too personal :) For the record, I got an ISTJ - looking forward to seeing what types of people we have on the 'Chartz!

"ESTP - The Doer

Friendly, adaptable, action-oriented. "Doers" who are focused on immediate results. Living in the here-and-now, they're risk-takers who live fast-paced lifestyles. Impatient with long explanations. Extremely loyal to their peers, but not usually respectful of laws and rules if they get in the way of getting things done. Great people skills."

Hmmm, I guess it's close enough.

I'm the same as you radish.

I'm definitely an ISFP. ^_^

The Artist:

Quiet, serious, sensitive and kind. Do not like conflict, and not likely to do things which may generate conflict. Loyal and faithful. Extremely well-developed senses, and aesthetic appreciation for beauty. Not interested in leading or controlling others. Flexible and open-minded. Likely to be original and creative. Enjoy the present moment.

ENTP - The Visionary

I was actually quite split on the first one, but the result sounds pretty accurate to me. Or maybe it's just flattering enough to make me think that way.

ISTP - The Mechanic

Quiet and reserved, interested in how and why things work. Excellent skills with mechanical things. Risk-takers who they live for the moment. Usually interested in and talented at extreme sports. Uncomplicated in their desires. Loyal to their peers and to their internal value systems, but not overly concerned with respecting laws and rules if they get in the way of getting something done. Detached and analytical, they excel at finding solutions to practical problems.

This is pretty close to me especially cause I'm getting a mechanical engineering degree. The only part that I disagree with is the taking risks part and the extreme sports thing.

NNID: FrequentFlyer54

I'm both an "I" and an "E" so that's nonsense. I've done this test before and I either get INTP or ENTP depending on my mood. The description for ENTP fits me way better though.

I'm kind of stuck between two.

INFP - The Idealist

More than others are focused on making the world a better place for people. Their primary goalis to find out their meaning in life. What is that purpose? How can they serve humanity in their lives? They are idealists and perfectionists, who drive themselves hard in their quest for achieving the goals they identified  for themselves.

INFJ - The Protector

Are gentle, caring, complex and highly intuitive individuals. Artistic and creative, they live in a world of hidden meanings and possibilities. Only one precent of the population has this personlity making it rare.
