Tagged games:

These are avail until May 5th.

Super Mario 64 for your Wii VC for 200 coins.

Super Metroid for your Wii VC for 150 coins. (Keep in mind this will be $0.30 on Wii U in a couple weeks.)

NOTE: Even if you've pushed content to WiiU, you can still open Wii shop and download these titles. Bonus benefit is when they release on WiiU VC you'll get them at a reduced rate. So FREE now and then only $1 or $2 later.

Kirby's Pinball Land for your 3DS for 150 coins.

3D Classics: Urban Champion for your 3DS for 150 coins.

I didn't pick up really any N64 titles on my Wii VC so, I've been getting these freebies when they come up. This way its uber-cheap to get them on Wii U VC later. M64 is now mine! (again)

That is a good deal for Mario 64. They did not have it before, or this is just a cheap deal?

SM64 has been on Wii VC for awhile. I simply didn't buy any N64 games (NES and SNES only).

Now when they come up in Nintendo Club rewards I get them so I can pay very little to have them on WiiU VC when it matures.

Thanks for the heads up. Still haven't redeemed Super Punch-Out!! yet, but I think I'll add in Mario 64 anyways. Gotta spend them coins!

I may give kirby a chance, but have the others. Was really hoping some new rewards would pop up besides games, I need something to spend my 1100 coins on

For some time i have been thinking on getting Mario 64, but i didn't, because i wanted to get the best version and i didn't decide if the virtual console version or the DS version is the best, and i am not the kind of person that purchase the same game twice.

So, what is more worth it? The DS or the VC version? What do you guys think?
I am not talking about price.

As far as I've known, they are the same game.

VC will be an exact replica of N64 copy. However, you can then get it at a reduced rate of $2 when it launches on WiiU VC which will add some features such as game state saves and gamepad playability.

DS version of course is already portable and frankly, I have no clue if anything was upgraded. But free + $2 later is a lot better than the $$ on DS.

The Ds version doesn't have analog stick support so you will have to play using the stylus to run.  It works pretty well however.  The Ds also supports multiplayer.  The graphis are, well different.  I kinda remember liking the Ds graphics the best.

I believe the DS version also has additional characters and stars, no?

Ok, hugely important question. Does SM64 play like the original with the controller. Does the analogue stick when pushed forward makes Mario run fast or do you have to press another button to run?

I bought it on DS hoping that I can relive this masterpiece and it was unplayable as I had to press one more button to make Mario run.

I bought a used N64 just to replay it and the damn cartridge plays fine but does not save !!!

Some help, would be appreciated Nintendophiles...
