PS3 is on fire.

Yes, because being down over 20% YoY with one of the biggest releases of the year is on fire nowadays.

There's no denying that this generation is dying, and although these figures may be low, you can't say it's doing well. Just relatively, and Ben then they certainly aren't awesome.

To say that it is on fire is an exageration from #WebMasterFlex.  But given the circunstances (Almost 2 years since the last price cut  +  PS4 is coming in 6~7 months), it's doing really well.

It's doing well, yeah. But lets not get ahead of ourselves now!

I wonder when itll drop below 100k weekly. Perhaps Late May?

It's doing relatively well as you said.

I believe it won't fall below 100k until the PS4 releases.  But that depends on PS4 price and how fast developers and Sony will stop making games for PS3.

Wii U adjusted up by 3k units now sitting at 68,391. The European wiiU reportes were true, it was undertracked

Luigi's Mansion 700k FW globally... nice.

it is amazing that the ps4 anounement did nothing to the sales of the ps3. Well done Sony, I can't wait for the ps4 to launch.

You should know that most of the numbers here are undertracked, right-o?

It won't drop below 100k anytime soon.

Yep, well aware of that fact. But the PS3 got veeeery close last year around that time, so it's more than likely to drop below it then.

Was this really necessary? I mean, sure, he exaggerated a bit, but I don't understand why this was required.

It may have been a tad harsh, but it is true (even if it is under tracked, which is most likely). As I said, the sales are maintaining well, but there's no need to over exaggerate. I apologise if it came off as offensive, because that wasn't the intention.

I guess that's true, but it was only for 2 or 3 weeks that it went below 120k. If GTAV hadn't been delayed I think it not going below 100k until September at the earliest would be guaranteed.

Yeah, that GTA V delay is most frustrating...but if it makes a better game its worth it!

Of course, there could easily be a price cut announced in the quarterly report. That would secure the fact it wouldn't go under 100k!

Anyway, these numbers are depressing for everyone.

Of course... VGC is undertracking Europe and others sales a lot since 2012... the sales are better for PS360 by a huge margim.

The VGC is stating to show numbers close to 3 million on shelves for PS3 and 360.
