By now it seems clear that Nintendo wont get alot of the multiplats that sony and microsoft get this gen. To combat this they have been making deals so they can increase there own output and get some 3rd party exclusives. Some examples are publishing Bayonetta 2 and Wonderful 101 for Platinum Games, having Namco help with Smash Bros, Atlus making FE x SMT. What are some other partnerships Nintendo should make? (Please be realistic)

Namco-since they seem to have a good relationship right now I would like to see some Namco exclusives come to Wii U. The latest Soul Calibur didnt do so hot, maybe Nintendo could get that exclusive this gen and help revitalize the series. Also it would be nice to see an exclusive Tales game, both GC and Wii got one so this its not out of the question Wii U will get one.

Sega-a few things could happen here, Nintendo could lend out an ip (F Zero or Star Fox would be nice), revive an old ip (Panzer Dragoon) or create a new ip. Mario & Sonic olympics will probably continue but it would be really cool to see a true Mario & Sonic game where they team up to face Bowser and Robotnik.

Square Enix-FFXV I think will be PS4 exclusive but its likely we will see a new Chrystal Chronicles. The next DQ will probably 3DS so I dont see WiiU getting another anytime soon. I would really like it if SE made a new Mario RPG or a Kingdom Hearts with Nintendo characters.

Capcom-the next mainline Resident Evil game will likely be on PS4/Xbox but hope to see RE 2 & 3 remade for Wii U kinda like how they did on Gamecube but that doesnt seem likely. If not that then maybe a new RE Chronicles (not on rails this time) or Revelations 2 for Wii U and 3DS. Viewtiful Joe is due for a return as is Mega Man so hopefully we see them soon.

Platinum Games-if W101 and Bayo2 sell well I think this partnership will grow, perhaps Nintendo will buy them. Maybe Nintendo will lwnd out an ip, Custom Robo or Sin & Punishment would be cool to see PG take a shot at.

What else would are some posibilites?

Doesn't Namco have a bad history with Nintendo?

I for one think one of the more "unknown" ones, more willing to work on less powerful hardware because of assets and whatnot.

I think they should team up with Sega for F-zero first off. Sega can do it with little or no help, and fans want it.

I think they should definitely get Capcom to make them a Resi game. Revelations didn't sell spectacularly, but it really is still a great game on 3DS, and I know a lot of people who picked up a 3DS for that game. Get Capcom to make a spin off resi game for Wii U.

They should just buy platinum games.

Also, lastly, I say build a new studio. They need a fresh new face to make some quality games.

They did in the past but GC and Wii each had a Tales game and Namco developed Star Fox Asault and is currently helping with Smash Bros

Revelations is probably my favorite 3DS game and its possible it will sell around 1million lifetime on 3DS plus its coming to WiiU/PS3/360 in May so between all of them it could possibly reach 2 mil. A sequel for WiiU and 3DS is very likely I think

I want platinum to make metroid. I think a studio like that knows how to make an action rpg, vigil would have done a perfect job as well. Team ninja would have been the dream team if itagaki produced it.

Who else, let's see. This might sound crazy but I'd like to see Nintendo license GI Joe. Transformers too. Since Nintendo is an old school house I believe they could publish the games properly and do justice to their name sake.

Honestly, I'd like to see Nintendo buy Platinum if they would be up for it. I know P* was formed because they wanted to get out from under the thumb of Capcom, but their style of game is PERFECT for Nintendo honestly. They could handle Star Fox even. Super bullet-hell, and on-foot segments like Vanquish or MGR using that stupid staff from Adventures if they felt the need to have on-foot. Kamiya would wet himself with excitement to work on Star Fox too.

Namco has a decent relationship with Nintendo I feel like. They are working on Smash Bros for crying out loud. 2 exclusive Tales games and a couple of other RPGs on the GC. Baten Kaitos may not have sold the best and was a little odd.....but getting the main character from that into Smash would be so awesome.

I could also see Nintendo working with TT again for some sweet Lego exclusives. If they got the main studio to work on an exclusive rather than Fusion (which has done like...90% handheld development), things could get wild.

Working with Crytek to publish Timesplitters 4 as an exclusive would be a massive megaton win for Nintendo. They possibly could talk Ubisoft into publishing it instead since they are supporting Nintendo and have a partnership with Crytek. Thank god EA doesn't own them.

Working with Capcom for a console only version of Monster Hunter would be incredible, but unlikely. Unless Ultimate really takes off on Wii U, I have a feeling it will stick to handhelds more, which is a shame. Perhaps Nintendo could get them to revive Viewtiful Joe....

Platinum and metroid would be neat but I love what retro has done with it so im not sure if  iwant anyone else makingetroid games. Speaking of team ninja I forgot to mention I think Nintendo should publish the next Ninja Gaiden game
