I get it some of you guys don't like the X360, or the PS3, and wow on all the doom threads about the WiiU as of late.   Some people are trying to create arguments as of late and even if you don't like the WiiU because it isn't "next gen enough"  or the NeXbox because "rumors" and then the PS4 because it's PS4 reveal or the Vitas lack of explosive sales, does that really mean we have to scream it at the world everytime we can? 

Hey guess what?  I don't like the Wii......Does that mean I should make a thread about it everyday or scream out that I hate it because of this and that?

So you don't like Kinect or the X360?  Well who cares, others do.

You don't like Sony and the Playstation?  Well guess what?  Others do.

My point is, no matter what you all scream and preech, people are still going to love there devices so can we just cool it for at least one week.  Do you all realize the best games out this year has been multipatform for the most part?   That means you can get them on all devices (For the most part).  Exclusives are great and I love my Uncharted and Halo but when it comes down to it I still love multiplatform just as much.  And lets say i dont like an exclusive.  I know it is popular to hate on Halo so Ill use it as an example.  So you dont like halo, does that make it a bad game?  Does that change other peoples opinions about it? No.  Better is not a fact, it is an opinion.  I don't mind numbers being thrown out but outside of that when you hate on something just because it doesn't fit your preference is just aggravating.

If you dont like something, so be it.  Your opinion, but let others have there own opinions rather than ramming yours down someone elses throats.

Probably a good idea, what with everyone about to turn on Microsoft because of those rumours.

I left the forum for almost the entire march because of the doom threads (well, being busy after the finals also was a factor), but you'll have to admit we'd be in a somewhat dire state without the doom- and the other negative threads right now. Not enough positive gaming news. No announcements, no nothing. It got better as of lately though.

There has been plenty of good news but they get burried in  trash threads.  More people will start leaving if this continues.  I can go to other sites and find news that is actually worth reading instead of reading a lot of the garbage on this site.

Can people stop acting like a product or firm is a part of their identity? Can people stop self victimizing and interpreting opinions on a firm's performance or business strategy as a personal attack?

I agree that people should stop acting like a firm is their identity but people are taking them as personal attacks from 1 of 2 things.  the creator of the thread is someone known to attack them in the 1st place and the other on is that most of the negative threads have been opinion pieces rather than anything that is actually factual.
