SNES was the main

PS1 and N64 both commanded my attention equally. PS1 mostly for single player and N64 for both single and multi, but I used the former for single player games more.

PS2 was the main and the Gamecube and Dreamcast were supporting systems. Gamecube got a lot of play from me though. Smash Bros Melee alone has more hours clocked than all the games I played on PS2 combined.

PS3 (didn't need one of the other guys and definitely didn't want the other)

Next gen I intend to go with PS4 as my main and the Wii U as my supporting system. The Wii was the first (main) Nintendo console I skipped, but I'm fine with the Wii U so I'll get one later this year.

Ur right about N64, it was the king of multiplayer, as a kid it was awesome to have a bunch of my best friends over, get high on mountain dew and pizza and play goldeneye, smash, conker, mario kart/party, pokemon stadium all night

I concur, good sir. I played Smash Bros. 64, Destruction Derby, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Diddy Kong Racing, Mario Kart 64, and of course ... CONKER! We used to order 2 or 3 boxes of pizza and/or Chinese food and play all day during the summer. Conker and Smash got the most play if I remember correctly. For the latter we would just put the game on stock X 99 and play it out.

To a lesser extent we played Mace and Mortal Kombat Trilogy a lot on the 64 as well, but those games were less accessible than the aforementioned titles.

Gamecube was great for multi player games too, but we mostly limited our focus to Smash Bros. Melee and 007 Agent Under Fire. Those two games were awesome! There was a weird Godzilla game we played a lot too, but that one was reserved for play after drinking a few stouts. It seemed more interesting then. xD

I really miss those days even tho wii let me down in alot of ways, I dont think ive played a single game as much as SSBB, for over a year I would play that with my roommates for an hour almost every night

2nd....... Atari VCS (Combat, Pitfall, Pole position) simple yet fun times.

3rd...... console wise played the SEGA Master System most (not mine), NES a close second (spent more time in the arcades during that era as opposed to playing consoles to be honest, did have an Amstrad CPC 464 at home though)

4th.... SEGA Megadrive by quite a distance. (loved my SNES too though)

5th.... SEGA Saturn (did own an N64 too and much later a second hand ps1)

6th.... SEGA Dreamcast by a big margin overall (2nd Gamecube, 3rd XBOX, 4th a 2nd hand ps2)

7th.... XBOX 360 by a landslide (owned a new Wii & now have a second hand ps3)

fave gens? 1st..... 4th gen, 2nd..... 6th gen, 3rd.... 7th gen.

- PC

I plan to buy a PS3 once "Beyond 2 Souls" and "The Last of Us" are out...and if they're THAT good.

You do know that the 3DS has much more crisper looking graphics then PC? (thanks to the 3D effect)

You can't be serious.

I do too. Back when I was in primary and secondary school I had all the time in the world. I managed to play a lot and still get stellar grades in school. When I entered university I had to get rid of gaming altogether, so I missed out on the great majority of what this gen had to offer. I find myself playing catch up now since I bought my PS3 at the end of 2011. Now my friends are either in different countries scattered around the globe or they’re like me and have very little time to play. Plus, while online play is nice, it just doesn’t bring that feeling of 4 friends playing together in one room. I miss those days!
