Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Bushnell: Xbox 720 will win next-gen

The only funny thing here is that he is the only professional that actually works with the hardware from Sony, MS and Nintendo. Everyone else in this threat talks like they are the ones making the games. I'll believe this guy over anyone on this message board (which, of course, is Sony fan dominated).

How do we even know this guy is developing a game on ps4 or has a ps4 devkit?

I like how the guy says that Sony's online is god awful. Maybe in the first few years of the ps3's life. They have dramatically improved their online.

Also he says that software is what sells hardware and that MS has better software, so why is the 360 not dominating now?

What has Atari been doing lately?

After Time Warner bought it from Bushnell, and then ran it into the ground, it got sold off to Jack Tramiel, who then nickle and dimed it also, and turned it into a maker of hard drives I believe, before vanishing.  Atari videogame division stuff along the way got sold off to Midway, who then eventually was bought up again by Tramiel.  The other part I believe was bought up by either Titus or Infogrames, who then changed their name to Atari.

The Atari you are thinking of is eons removed from Bushnell.  Bushnell does still remain a visionary, but is out of the loop with the home console market.

Truth hurts Sony loyalities lol

But he said stuff that just isn´t truth man, like, the PS4 is a easy to develop console, and he described like it was the PS3. Also, the PSN PLUS is killing right now, and he described like it was PSN from 2007.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

What to call arminuk, if you like, is to call a PREDICTION by Bushnell, in an area that is not his area of expertise now, truth.  It isn't truth, it is an opinion that looks out of wack to me.  Does Bushnell even know what the heck the next Microsoft home console is going to be?  I doubt it.  Does he know the price point it will have?  I doubt it.  Does he know why the next Microsoft console would do anything in Japan, when two prior ones have faled?  I doubt it.  And what does he know about Europe that others don't.  For him to say what he said, and people to call it "truth" is daft.  Predictions are not truth, they are predictions.

He seems confident in M$' abilities and well, so am I. People above are calling him stupid, how so? He made an estimation, that does not make someone stupid. If it did, well, we're all stupid. We've all made estimations at least once in our lives, CHILL THE FUCK OUT!!

He is the founder of Atari, he understand how this business works, a lot better than you or I probably ever will. Keep your online ego in check and read what he has to say then consider it. OMFG ThIS GUY IS DUMB comments only makes you look that way. He's been in the business before I was born, likely most of us actually. Ohter people have said PS4 will outsell the 720, on this site and professionals I'm more than sure of it, don't see me talking shit.

So yeah, chill out. It's not like he is telling it as if it's going to be set in stone.

Was this taken from last gen or something? This doesn't gel with anything that I've seen or read elsewhere about where Sony is now. Oh, Bushnell ...

Besides that he said something against Sony and getting the full force against him (he founded Atari where almost all in this thread hating about him weren't even born...) he also said that MS' dev-tools are extremely good (and always were) which is what I keep telling for days now but some users just want to except. I definitely see a small advantage for MS in this case, too. Sony can buy "knowledge" in this area but MS already has the required knowledge.
