For referance, consoles sell alot on those weeks before christamas. It can easily do 3-4 millions in the last 2 months.

I agree, and for giggles to reach his top figure it needs to start selling 250k a week starting immediatly.

I'm not even sure it will hit 6mil and that's 100k a week starting immediatly

Then it would be "first full year plus a month and a half" and also it would need to sell "5-8mil from now through december" not "between now and december" which changes everything.

I said reach, I did not say it would sell 8-11m this year.  It will sell at around 5-8m from now til december.  Holidays will be what pushes it to around 5-8m.  I dont expect it to sell well until then with big releases.  

If the WiiU reaches 8m globally by december that means i'm right.  We will see if i am right or not.  Def revive this in January 2014

EDIT:  I do want to point out that the WiiU sold 2million this holiday which means it was averaging 250,000 a week.  That is with pretty much no games.

They will be lucky to get 6 million sold. Shipped numbers may be slightly higher.
