Right now, it is definitely in competition with PS3 and 360. It's also competing with the Wii. And the 3DS. And smartphones. And movies. And books. And playing rock-paper-scissors.

People really need to get the idea that an entertainment product never has no competition. The fact that PS4/720 aren't out yet doesn't mean anything for Wii U and isn't a good reason to cut it some slack.

Louis C.K. is a has been. He started off funny, but his jokes are all the same. I'm a 40 year old bald fat sweaty guy which girls don't want to make love with, but I'm grateful to get laid....lalala

Wii never had any competition, people didn't choose between owning a Wii and a 360 or a PS3, they either chose which one do I get first or got a Wii because they play ocassionally.

With a few new good IP's, Wii U will be the same. I can see sales boom when Wii Fit U and Mario Kart 8 release. A lot of people buy Nintendo platforms for Mario Kart specifically, heck if you look at all the home Nintendo consoles, there have been roughly 1/3rd as many Mario Kart sales as there have been console sales. MK64 sold about 10 million on a platform which sold 32 million. MK:DD sold about 7 million on a platform that sold 21 million, and MK Wii sold above 30 million on a platform reaching 100 million.

I love Louis C.K., his show LOUIE on FX is the best thing I ever saw on television, also, his stand-up specials are amazing. Even his interviews are amazing, a true genious. I think he will get even bigger than he is right now.

The Nintendo Wii U is clearly Versuing PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 every week/month when it comes to consoles Wii U is in dead last no matter how you put it. And I feel like when PS4 comes out Wii u will be the Wii all over again minus casuals because we all know they are the ones who carried Nintendo to the top in sells this gen PS4 will be top idk about 720 I hear they ain't about games but trying to be a cable box idk what that mean but it should always be about gaming then entertainment etc. but Wii u idk what they gonna do to turn this around... Casuals don't care for Mario, smash bros, Zelda, etc they just want easy pick up and play. Plus everyone thinks Wii u is just a $300 add on to Wii how can you get people to understand the Wii and Wii u are two deferent consoles but its Nintendo fault naming it that... >.> thought lighting was gonna strike twice.

I dunno, I've seen his stand ups, and both of his TV shows (Lucky Louie, and Louie). His jokes get a bit redundant, they are all basically the same.

To each there own though, and Loiue C.K. did at least start off good, that we can agree on. He is very visual with the seat dripping sex jokes.

Lucky Louie wasn´t good at all, LOUIE is awesome, because C.K. has full control of everything on the show, and film it like a classic movie, cameras, shots, he does it like Coppola on the first Godfather, I mean, the cams and angles, this make the show looks gorgeous in my opinion.

But, I don´t see the point of talking about this, you of course have the right to dislike him. =D

Yes, you are right, however, my point is that NEXT GEN CONSOLES target people who already were gamers on the last gen (they already have a car, now they want the jet). I have all consoles already, the WiiU is targeted to people like me I think, who want to go a step further now. And I did not bought one yet, because it failed to impress me as I expect to be impressed when another console generation starts.

You cannot really think that NINTENDO waited 7 years to launch a PS3 competitor, to me the WIIU was mean to be NINTENDO next gen machine, and I think the consumers are judging it like that, and that is why it is having a hard time on the market.

Nintendo fans get angry when people say "the wiiu is not next gen", I think the hard time the WiiU is facing comes from it BEING A NEXT GEN CONSOLE, day after day, at stores, gamers judge the WiiU has a next gen console, and them, it fail to impress them.

The gaming consumer base that played last gen consoles is close to 200 million people, these guys are hungry for the next wave of consoles, and they are the core consumer for next gen consoles. Nintendo is talking to these people everyday at stores. You guys tell me that PS3 and XBOX360 are a factor, not for these dudes, they have the HD twins at their homes, they have seem the HD twins at stores for 7 years. No one goes "What is it? A P-S-threee?" 

What happens, and happened to me as well is: old time gamer (70%) of the market are gaming veterans like me, get in a store to see what the NEXT GEN CONSOLE from Nintendo is all about, see some demos, maybe he visitis some sites, youtube, read some reviewe, them he decide if it is time. We are talking about a potencial market of 70-80 million consumers, who played the HD twin for at least 3-5 years.

To these guys (next gen gamers in potencial), the options are: THE WIIU or NOTHING.  And Nintendo has to hurry, because after october it will begin the real fight.

Maybe I can relate to a married man, but not a single divorced father? Either way, the Comedy genre is really dependant on personal taste, some people like jokes by a single old guy, some people like them from a guy who jokes on peoples race (I do like Russel Peters, but again, same jokes), some people like atheist comedians who rip on religions. To each their own, and I'm not saying I don't like Loius, I just think he is meh.

These guys? OK i see where you are coming from, but you are still ignoring the fact that there are still people who are STILL buying PS360s. Who are these people then? What would you call them. YOu want to ignore them but you cant.  Not when both consoles have been kicking WiiU's ass since it came out and doesnt look to change that anytime soon. Who are these people buying PS360s INSTEAD of getting a WiiU? These arent small gaps either. PS3 sold almost twice as much last week.

I agree with the core gamer part, but either A) there is not as much of us as either you or I believe OR b) they simply dont give a damn about WIi U for the most part and are choosing NOTHING. I dont have an issue with Wii U but as a next gen console 7 years later, its doing a crappy job of showing its next gen and no a tablet controller is not gonna cut it.
