Immaturity at its finest. Watch the video and respond or shut up.

Thank you kindly. :)

lol

With your rep, it's understandable why things would be that way.

It is what it is.

You mean my rep with paranoid people. If I am wrong prove me wrong, plain and simple but this is just a video. Watch it or go away.

I watched this before. He makes some good points but specs are not always important when determining success

He stated that as well, but thats Nintendos biggest achillies heel. In new gens third parties are looking to expand what they can create and Nintendo just isnt working with them.

I thought nintendo would finally get some decent 3rd party support, but seeing what has already happened i dont think that will happen. I think Nintendo will have to carry themselves until they get a decend instalbase for developers to see what the WiiU's worth.

Well, Nintendo has not been recieving  support form 3rd parties since the N64, so there´s not a big surprise if this doesn´t happen (again) with the WiiU.

In a certain way, it´s understandable why Nintendo didn´t try to make a more powerful machine: price. It´s clear that videogame is becoming a niche market again, as sales continue to shrink year-by-year, and it seems that consumers are not willing to spent big money on consoles anymore (Vita, anyone?), and if any company wants to stay competitive on this market consoles must be cheap. I believe that both PS4 and XBox720 (?) will also have slow staryts, I just wonder how long videogame companies can cope with those slow starts again.

price ?and than they have built a system with a very expensive controller?

Interesting.

But what about the guy who made the video? He has a history of defending the WiiU

And he's still defending Nintendo. Thats what thes guys refuse to understand.

There is nothing said in the video that I can disagree with. Also, anyone judging the video based on who posted it has that right, but flaming without even watching is just a way of embarrassing yourself. It's obvious the person responsible for the video itself is a big Nintendo fan, and he even says that he thinks the Wii U will eventually sell very well.

In my opinion, most of his criticisms are spot-on. Nintendo truly has wasted their one year head-start. When the PS4 and 720 launch, the Wii U's installed base likely won't have enough power behind it to influence third parties to consider the Wii U as the lowest common denominator. Rather than build that installed base early, and thus entice third party publishers, Nintendo has decided to throw out its big titles in a head-to-head match-up with the system launches from Sony and Microsoft. I cannot, for the life of me, see the logic in that. Why make it a competition when you could have released those games during a period when they had ZERO next gen opposition? They could have blown away the PS3 and 360 (probably) but they instead wish to face the PS4 and 720 mano-a-mano? No.

Nintendo, like Sony, has suffered in previous generations as a result of its own arrogance. Just like Sony after the PS2, there was a time when Nintendo thought they could dictate terms to both consumers and publishers. Quite honestly, you would expect both companies to have learned from that, but a part of me feels that Nintendo had absolute faith in the Wii U's controller as a huge draw even WITHOUT a selection of top level games. I think they rolled the dice with that in mind and didn't get the result they wanted. It's my belief that they fully expected the Wii U to be in a position of power with their big software titles yet to release. Rather than play it safe, they wanted to go for the kill, and I think that confidence and/or arrogance is going to hurt them.

Yes, your rep with 'paranoid' people.

I've seen you argue and know the kind of nonsensical twisted  logic you use, especially when it comes to anything to do with 'casuals'. I don't fancy wasting my time with that kind of shit.

I'm not going to report you, but you should probably get at least a warning for your behavior in this thread.  What you're doing is continuously flaming the OP for off-topic stuff from other discussions.  If you don't intend to watch at least part of the video and comment on the contents, then at least leave without posting or make one post about why you won't watch it and move on.  This thread is being dragged away from talking about the video for no relevant reason.

I couldn't agree more.
