He stated that as well, but thats Nintendos biggest achillies heel. In new gens third parties are looking to expand what they can create and Nintendo just isnt working with them.

I thought nintendo would finally get some decent 3rd party support, but seeing what has already happened i dont think that will happen. I think Nintendo will have to carry themselves until they get a decend instalbase for developers to see what the WiiU's worth.

Well, Nintendo has not been recieving  support form 3rd parties since the N64, so there´s not a big surprise if this doesn´t happen (again) with the WiiU.

In a certain way, it´s understandable why Nintendo didn´t try to make a more powerful machine: price. It´s clear that videogame is becoming a niche market again, as sales continue to shrink year-by-year, and it seems that consumers are not willing to spent big money on consoles anymore (Vita, anyone?), and if any company wants to stay competitive on this market consoles must be cheap. I believe that both PS4 and XBox720 (?) will also have slow starts, I just wonder how long videogame companies can cope with those slow starts again.

If you really hate Nintendo so much, why do you keep posting about them? Seems to me theres more to it. If I didn't like Ning I wouldn't even bother with them. I certainly wouldn't waste my time making doom threads.

Did I make a doom thread? No. Secondly, I wanted to buy a Wii U. If you've read my posts late last year, but something in me said you know what I know Nintendo will fuck up with the third parties again when it comes to the serious games. Nintendo is just a company that suits their own tastes and I'll try to pick one up but it wont be now, but the smarter choice of when all the good titles come out. Some of my favorite Nintendo consoles have never been the popular ones outside of the SNES.

Its not about power. Nintendo tried to ride the trend of casuals buying tablets and fell flat on their face. They realize that casuals are buying tablet games and ipod games which are tearing into the gaming market and this disrupts the DS. They were campaigning to win over the casuals with the tablet and get the core to come along so they could have both. Dumb decisions, because casuals want to see a new way to game where they dont have to work to get into gaming just like the Wii.

Do you disagree with the video or not?

Theres a reason systems dont release with zelda's budget and polish. It takes too long on an uncharted console. You dont see system sellers at the hdtwin launch. Furthermore, zombiu is a killer app. Supported by this poll I conducted http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=153934&page=1 3 out of 4 vgchartz users who played it would recommend it to a friend. I beat zombiu and I never played anything like it in my life. .

The other thing, the video suggests nintendo should build with specs that sell at a gigantic loss like microsoft and sony.

So a game that sells less than 500k is a killer app, while games that will sell much more on the HD consoles won't be killer apps/system sellers. Do you realize what you're saying?

OT: This is the same guy that did this video, lol: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWxdcb12FyQ

Kinda sucks that he defended Nintendo and ended up being wrong about the power in the console.

Immaturity at its finest. Watch the video and respond or shut up.

Thank you kindly. :)
