No UE4, no Frostbite 3... Its not the case the console can't run those, it's the case were 3rd parties won't even bother to try. Multiplatforms will be a miracle to happen on this console. This means NoJ shareholders getting upset, which leaves Nintendo alone to carry the burden of the underdog Gamecube 2. 

Panic mode is enabled.

Will we see Nintendo pumping out gems ? Or are they running in circles and they can't even get their act together thats why pikmin 3 and w101 are taking so long ? Can the sequel to pokemon x and y save the wii u with a version tailored just for it ?

They seemed to have difficulty getting software out in a timely fashion for the Wii, so it's not really surprising that they're having even more trouble with an HD console. It's going to really limit their ability to turn things around quickly.

Looking at their behavior regarding home consoles over the last two decades, I don't think Nintendo going into panic mode on the Wii U is going to be nearly as awesome or effective as it was when they did so on the 3DS. But it should be interesting to see what they'll do now, for sure.

Now seriously, Why do Nintendo fans never complain about something like this. It are always MS or Sony guys making those Threads. There are others Engines in this universe for example the extraordinary beatyful Cryengine which runs on the Wii U. And most developers use their own engines, like almost every Ubisoft studio.

Doomed since '89 or probably before that.

I hope they are in panic mode. It would be preferable to their "sit back and let the Wii U die" attitude they've displayed so far.

well panic mode did wonderful things for sony/ps3 (at least as far as a consumer is concerned) so it could be a good thing.

And the 3DS.

They actually pumped gems during the Gamecube days.

Eternal Darkness, the REmake, Smash Bros Melee, Fire Emblem, Tales of Symphonia, Paper Mario and the Star Wars games come to my mind...
