Every fanboy of a certain company feels the same way (me included). Not saying that you're a fanboy though.

That is just a sneaky way of calling me a fanbiu! How dare you! Remember when you bequsted of me in a PM not to call you something? I acquiesced. I expect the same courtesy from you.

So why Would a Sony gamer or Microsoftonian gamer want Nintendo to fail? We never did anything to them? Besides enable them.

I didn't call you a fanbiu!!!!!!!!!!!

I want Nintendo to fail because they manhandled Sony and Microsoft with a tiny 6th gen console in a 7th gen war ;o

Why would I want a company to fail?

People will lose jobs

I want Nintendo to burn. A little.

They're sitting on a huge pile of cash and yet take ages to develop something. Miiverse 3DS arriving later than smartphones version ? No moneyhating for multiplatform games on Wii U like Microsoft and Sony do ?

Recently I have been redboxing a lot of 360 games. Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider, Dishonord, Crysis 3, etc. I have really enjoying d myself playing these games. Especially Tomb Raider. But I still have this feeling of hate for Sony and Microsoft.

It all started with Sony making my N64 time less epic as they stole the show back then. It continued as people dismissed the GC for the PS2. Then after Wii gave Nintendo its honor back Microsoft came along and broke that party up again by releasing the almighty Kinect.

Anyone else feel that way? By the way... I have forgiven Sega, but we best them anyways and now they have all but given up.

I've owned every system released in the USA and several Japanese ones as well and do not "hate" any one company. I do however dislike the fans of some of the companies more than others. I read articles daily on all the systems and find that the most immature replies come from the other camps.

While I've always like some companies more than others, my favorites have been Atari, Sega & Nintendo. All three of these companies were true gaming companies (Nintendo still is). They were built for the purpose of gaming. MS & Sony are just corporations who decided to make gaming divisions in the search for more profits. I've never understood the hatred that MS & Sony fans have toward Nintendo as they are the one company that as a whole truly loves gaming.

I see a much different landscape in ten years. While I believe that there will still be home consoles, I question if MS & Sony will still be in the game. If the next Xbox doesn't perform well, I can see MS ditching it to focus on the divisions that show more growth. If the PS4 doesn't perform well, Sony will end up being a shell of what they once were. Remember, Nintendo is sitting on about $14,000,000,000 in cash. Sony had to sell their two biggest office buildings to pay debt and finance the launch of the PS4 Even if the PS4 is a moderate success, the company will not be back to the levels it was during the PS2 days.

As for me, after much thought, I've decided to pass on the PS4 at launch. This will be the first system launch in the USA that I've passed on since the original NES. I find that I have less time for gaming than I use to and with everything I already have, I don't see were the PS4 brings anything new to the game other than better graphics than the current systems, which my PC is more than capable of producing.

Stop hating and start playing.

Well sort of, yes. I do have a problem with some things Microsoft and Sony stand for. When Nintendo is in trouble (as they are now), there's always a lot of pressure on them to become just like the other two. That's why I can't just say "live and let live" or "to each their own", cause no video game maker exists in a vacuum. They are competitors, and the loser usually has to adapt to the winner. I want Nintendo to retain their own style.

If that was true, that would say a lot about you then. You would have no problem with tens of thousands of people losing their jobs just so your favorite company doesn't have the competition anymore. That's pretty pathetic really.

My inner fanboy only emerged after joining this website. I just dislike some stuff about companies. I don't like arrogance Sony got arrogant and look where that got them. I don't like how Nintendo acts all mighty, sometimes they just have to swallow their pride and do what's best for the developers. I don't like that Microsoft still charges for online and that it doesn't come out with new games, it feels like they're okay with what's happening and they don't care about the consumer. However I rarely wish for a company to fail, well actually not rarely but you know :p.

The Wii didn't give Nintendo a shred of honor, just cash. Call it like it is.

Speak for yourself. They provided me with a hell of a lot more games that I actually wanted to play and was genuinely excited for, than the GC and N64 combined on Wii. And those were both great systems. Don't be a fanboy. Just play fuckin' games and enjoy yourself. Anything else is a waste of time.

I am speaking for myself, but whether you like it not it came out looking like a cash grab. The Wii had some good games but 70% of their games were shovelware and it was a one time gimmick. This parties mostly didnt know how to properly use it for a while. Nintendo knew they screwed up with the core gamer too which is why they had to get the third party games just as the current gen ended. They need to start consulting the third party devs more about what is expected from a next gen console or else this will not be the last time they are abandonned.

I just want EA and all of its studios to go bankrupt. There is nothing wrong with Sony and Microsoft.

If I said I don't hate I would be lying

I don't want companies to go bankrupt, I just want something bad to happen to them so they learn from it and become better
