You want to see two guys who have NO LIFE.

1: Go to Youtube.com
2: Search "wiilover07"
3. Search "Nin tondo"

These two guys are living in a dream world. Nothing against nintendo fans, but these two guys are lunatics lol. They LOVE Nintendo, don't care about Microsoft, and HATE Sony with a passion! While we're on the subject of no life.

I don't game nearly as much as I used 2. I usually end of finishing my games, but it takes several months. I can finish the average FPS single player campaign in about 2-3 days. Every other type of game is a different story.

I used to play a lot of games in the SNES/PS1/PS2 era. I stopped playing as much when I went to college because of the need to manage my time. Now I only play games I really think are worth the time, and even then I've skipped out on some quality titles from the lack of money/free time. I have caught up on some steam games (late on the HL2/Portal1&2 scene but they've become some of my favorite gaming experiences ever).

Oh, and having a steady girlfriend for the last 3 years doesn't help the cause. Still, I enjoy sites like this, GameTrailers, IGN and IndieGames, because I like to be kept in the know. That and I want to make games for a living eventually.

i have a fulltime job, im a full time post-graduate student, full time boyfriend, part time gay-mer....

I game constantly for as long as I can giving no time or effort to anything that bores me! And everything which isn't a video game BORES me!!!!!

As a WiiU owner I read all these posts bitchin' about lack of games etc etc. Don't you guys live real lives? How many hours can you afford to play in a week? I am a busy professional who have enough money to afford every AAA title in every console if I wanted to, but do not have the time ! So for me it is irrelevant whether there are AAA titles every month. All I need is a quality game to keep me occupied once a while. I mean, I never finished a game apart from Advance Wars and a couple of Pokemon titles...

Well, you bring up that you don't care if there are AAA titles every month, and I just want to address this. As someone who also can really only afford to beat one-two games a year, it is important for me that there are AAA titles every month, because my tastes differ from other people's tastes. If there is only one AAA title every 4-6 months, that's less and less chance that the game will appeal to me, meaning I could go years before seeing a AAA game I want.

Also, I don't play games to beat them, I play them to play them.

Not only that, besides work, japanese, and university, having a relationship is the most time consuming of all. :/

try managing three relationships, one being a girl you live with...
Vita has become my only respite, and I'll play eve online at night because I'm able to just mine away and do chores, watch a movie with the chica.

well, does being able to play video games all day really mean you have no life? what if I don't want to do anything else at the moment?

I'm 31 yrs old. I own my own house, I have plenty of money saved up due to smart decisions. I have a beautiful girlfriend that makes over 1k a week. video gaming doesn't affect my relationship at all because she is also a huge gamer! I buy on average 3-4 titles a month. My backlog isn't that long because I spend 10-15 hrs everyday playing video games.

I worked my ass off for years to get to this point. And right now, I couldn't care less for anything else other than playing video games. Does this really make me a no life gamer? Oh well, at least I'm a very happy no lifer!!
