Dang, the more I see, the earlier I want to get one. Imagine Battlefield 4 and Assassin's Creed IV on this bad boy. I think it's time they stop skimping on multiplayer though, BF4 deserves 64 player maps on consoles, or at least 48 players.

Starting to sound expensive. PSEye packed in, head set packed in. Those 2 things alone have to add $75 to the price tag.. unless they can produce the console itself for under $300 it's going to have an off puttingly high price point for a lot of people.

lulz, you can't be serious.  pseye retails for $40 and that comes with a healthy profit margin.  together it probably adds $10-15 to sony's costs.

I think this may have been like a little demonstration where they played a Heavy Rain demo using a social driven online multiplayer feature that enabled choices in that Heavy Rain demo to be determined by the number of votes submitted by friends in total. Heavy Rain Demo + Friends Voting + Majority of votes = the option the game recognizes.

Seems like some feature trying to explore a gaming possibility, a social gaming possibility. I think Sony did something like this at a theater screening in Europe for Heavy Rain, I remember reading an article related to this. I can't remember the details.

no clue about this pseye version but if the headset is like the packed in headset of the 360, the headset will cost maybe $3 to produce (or even less)

Sony has a lot to make up for and I think they are making up for it in spades.
