I like Jonathan Blow. He's not as douche as Fish, and while very cryptic and with huge ego, he's not that bad. That's my opinion, of course.


If people like his game, he should just be happy, instead he was all emo about people not "getting it" with Braid, I was like WTF? The Super Meat Boy devs are just that much cooler.

Nintendo's Wii-era policies have changed a lot since eShop came out. You don't have to have an office, you don't have to be from the country you want to publish the game and there isn't a minimun sell rate (you start to make money since the first sale). Furthermore, you have completely freedom to choose the price of the game or make discounts. You can also release patches whenever you want (they have to be approved by Nintendo)

Like the game.

Hate the guy.

I don't like the guy at all. I still thought the game was interesting so bought it at the christmas sale.
The more I hear from him though I don't think I'll do that again with his next game. No chance I'll double dip into a Steam version to get some decent performance out of the game. Effing patch the 360 version first, then maybe some time way down the road I'll buy from him again.

Wow after reading about Nintendo's policy I can't really blame him. It seems like releasing on Nintendo is a big risk with that stupid policy. That being said it's obvious that he doesn't like Nintendo but that's irrelevant.

 

Edit: Oh they changed that policy? Then yeah he has a grudge against them.
